Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I in the Diversity and Inclusion Office, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) performs complex activities related to violations of DIR's Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Workplace Violence and Bullying Prevention Policies.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated AGPA Equal EEO Investigator to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, respectful, and compliant work environment. The AGPA will be responsible for conducting thorough and unbiased investigations into allegations of harassment and discrimination, workplace violence, and bullying. This role requires a combination of investigative expertise and strong interpersonal skills to gather evidence, analyze information, and make well-informed recommendations for corrective action. The AGPA will develop and evaluate program policies and procedures and provides recommendations for reasonable and religious accommodation, and employee engagement.

The AGPA must demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff at all levels both within and outside of DIR to complete work assignments. The AGPA will utiliuze the Internet, email, desktop applications and presentation software to complete assignments.

The AGPA must handle sensitive and confidential materials and matters in a professional manner and establish cooperative working relationships with others.

Working Conditions

This position is designated as Remote Telework, with a required two days a week in the office located at: 1750 Howe Avenue, Suite 120, Sacramento, CA 95825. The AGPA will be required to travel occasionally (5%).

  • Competence in report writing and documentation.
