Primary Focus: Operation of CNC and automated production equipment
About the Role:
Jefferson Millwork & Design is seeking skilled and motivated Machine Operators to join our production team. This role is focused on the efficient and independent operation of CNC and automated machinery to support the flow of materials through our millwork production process. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work while ensuring seamless coordination with other production team members.
Key Responsibilities:
•Independently operate a variety of production machines, including Rover, edge bander, doweler, beam saw, and dovetailer.
•Understand and manage part flow between workstations to maintain production efficiency.
•Process materials and components accurately, ensuring they are ready for assembly.
•Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance.
•Collaborate with Production Mechanics and Assembly Technicians by providing support when needed.
•Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
•Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•Previous experience operating CNC or automated production machinery strongly preferred.
•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and measurements.
•Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
•Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
•Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
•Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
