Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • USA Zone Point of Contact for all contract-manufactured products and projects, incl. OEM, ODM, Co-packing, implementing global OEM category strategy led by Associate Director, Global Procurement, OEM and Market Insights, and to land in the USA Zone.
  • Sourcing Manager in charge of identifying the right suppliers to localize raw and packaging materials for cost and/or resilience in the US, in line with global category strategies developed by Global Procurement Directors. Managing the whole sourcing process.
  • Develop and implement US Zone local sourcing strategies for the procurement of assigned materials portfolio and provide forecast and future plans for the business.
  • Endeavor continuous and consistent effort in driving cost savings for both contract manufacturing and localization portfolios.
  • Strategize, operationalize, improve and leverage supplier/Partner relationship management for business growth.
  • Work with Innovation and Quality, TBD teams to drive external innovation, product development and efficiencies.
  • Ensure “Quality is non-compromised 100-1=0” in supplier quality management.
  • Continue to source new opportunities for new products, alternative supply chain and further partnership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Purchasing & Supply or other relevant discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain, Global and Local Sourcing and Food Industry.
  • At least 10 years working experience in related discipline with 6+ years working in management level.
  • Global Sourcing/Procurement experiences, working under multiple cultures and geographic complexities, must have US related experiences.
  • Sense with geopolitics and impact to Supply Chain/Procurement, economics and trade policies.
  • Strong management skill, initiative to drive results, outward and forward thinking.
  • Good communication and negotiation skill (both external and internal).
  • Proficiency of cost & budget controlling.
  • Able to manage and motivate self and others.
  • Must have Excellent skills (oral and written) in English. Mandarin and Cantonese will be a plus.
