Quality Engineer

$75,000 - $85,000 + Training + Tuition Reimbursement + Healthcare + PTO + 401k + Benefits

Kalamazoo, MI (Commutable from: Battle Creek, Three Rivers, Paw Paw, Plainwell, Allegan)

This is a highly varied role, where you will join a close knit and friendly team, and get involved in a wide range of quality engineering activities, working within the medical technology industry.

The company work with a range of small start-ups, right through to large blue chip companies. They have a great reputation within their industry, covering end to end manufacturing support, and are known to invest in their employees’ development through internal support and external courses.

This role would suit a Quality Engineer from a manufacturing background, eager to continue developing your career within a successful and growing organization who take care of their staff.

The Role:

• Develop and implement quality processes, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support manufacturing process development and lead route cause analysis for internal, customer and supplier quality issues
• Implement corrective and preventative actions; manage nonconformances
• Coordinate inspections and quality metrics with inspection team
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and all internal departments

The Person:

• Quality Engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering related field
• Manufacturing, machining, assembly or similar background
• Familiar with ISO 9001
