Charli Weiner was born in 2019 with profound bilateral sensorineural hearing loss and received bilateral cochlear implants on 28 April 2020. Her mom Mia states that she has not stopped talking since speaking her first words at one-year old! Her parents were extremely grateful for the team at the Cochlear Implant Unit for helping them through this overwhelming process and have organised birthday fundraisers for Charli every year since then. Additionally, this year her class mates at the Alon Ashel Preprimary School donated a bag full of coins collected during a fundraiser event. Hear Us truly appreciates this support and we are so proud of this three-year old and her wonderful family for spreading awareness about cochlear implants!
